About Simone Wright
My name is Simone Wright, licensed Aesthetician and Cosmetologist. I have a BA degree from Temple University, and worked in the corporate world which eventually led to exhaustion.
Freelance writing is one of my favorite hobbies from which I have attained merits from published works in various newspaper and magazines. I also am a radio personality doing a variety of skin care tips heard daily by a broad range of viewers. I have been doing skin care for 7 years now and I love it.
I also specialize in doing sister locks. I love what I do and I do it well. I have a diversified clientele and it fascinates me to see how well their skin and hair turns out. My CD 'Natural Ways to Get Perfect Skin' is available for purchase.
I took the sister lock training class in 2003 because I was interested in doing locks which was inspired at the time by a sister lock salon owner and certified instructor; I also locked my own hair which you can see from the picture. Everyone started liking my locks and I picked up a lot of clients that way.
I love doing facial peels, also known as chemical peels. I also perform peels on all variety of skin types. I find that more blacks are apprehensive to get peels because of lack of knowledge. Though, now-a-days many more blacks are getting peels. Peels are one of the best things that ever happened to skin care because of the exfoliation factor. I have watched faces that appear crust like transform into faces that are so soft, smooth, and clear. I have given peels to people with bad acne, eczema, rosacea, dark spots, and a lot more and have seen corrected results than can imagined.
